Either Super Street or Import Tuner covered a 2JZ 350 a few months ago, I forget which one.

Why not do a RB28DETT and stoke the **** out of it? I saw a skyline in YouTube that was stroked to something like 41 or 42. Even with small turbos it would fly.

2j>RB and the stroker kit alone for a RB is more than a couple 2j's

it wasnt a rb its the TB engines that you probably saw since they are also inline 6's

biggest your going to build a rb is 3.4L and then you have to spend several thousands sourcing a rb30 from australia, then sourcing a rb25/26 head, then spending 5-6k on the 3.4L stroker kit. might as well just go for a TB45 at that price

2jzgte with getrag 6spd. You're spending 6-7k just for engine and trans. Believe me, I know. Click my link in sig. I'm doing this swap now. It sounds easy and cheap LOL that's it, it only sounds easy and cheap.

If you searched, you would have found some threads on it.

Go to Alsharjah, you can get a complete 2JZGTE there for only ~$1000. Engine and tranny mounts are easy to make. Another $1000 for a complete kit to use your 350z transmission. There are only ~9 wires to get the 2jz running. A stock 2jzgte with only exhaust will make ~350whp all day long, you just need to keep it at ~14psi.

From my mobile.

or pay someone to build it correctly instead of a bubble shop and you have reliability as well, alot of people here who have reliable high power vq's

I plan to do the 2jz swap myself. Besides the mounts and a few other things. I'm in the planning and pricing stage, trying to get my parts list together and start ordering away!

What are your goals? What is your plan as far as internals/clutch/trans? How come you're leaving the VQ? And most importantly, what is your budget?
