Default JWT Clutch/Flywheel+importpartspro combo review

First off, I would like give a big thanks to Importpartspro.com(https://my350z.com/forum/drivetrain/...-shipping.html)
for the great deal and more importantly awesome customer service.

I recently blew my Act/Lightweight fidanza flywheel set up. It was a good set up and gave me 50,000 miles and 6 track weekends where I'm more than confident I beat the **** out of it.

Now however, I just got my new JWT clutch/flywheel, Chromoly Pivot ball,Nismo roller bearing and IPP SS clutchline installed and what a difference it makes. I literally just got home from picking it up and although I have only put 28 miles on it, I can tell that it is so much more advanced than my last set up. My whole transmission feels like it was overhauled.

-Shifts super smooth
-Engages/disengages very smooth
- Pedal feel is stiffer, but I prefer it that way(that is what she said)
-Revs are smooth
-Deceleration has improved

However I do have one gripe, but I do not know who is at fault, but I'm sure it's most likely with the dealership. I've noticed if I'm in a high gear low speed and breaking(not trying to downshift to much on breaking in) all the alarms will come on CEL,SLIP...etc

So I'll be looking into that. Other than that I will update after the clutch has been broken in a bit more

Mine was super grippy at first, but after a couple hundred miles it felt pretty much stock. How does the chatter compare with your old setup?

Glad you are liking it so far. I just ordered this kit yesterday after snapping the pivot ball earlier this week.

Hopefully the dealership will take care of that issue too.

The chatter is actually less. With my old set up if you were in a high gear low rpm it actually sounded like a welded diff. This whole setup just feels so natural.

Thanks for the kind words!

You could be throwing position sensor codes if the flywheel was not clocked correctly in relation to the crank. Because the crank position trigger wheel is on the flywheel it MUST be aligned properly or it can cause the timing to be scattered.

So I swapped into my winter wheels, much more meat on the tire and no more problem with all the warning lights. Don't know if they have anything to do with each other.

However, put a few more miles on with the JWT combo and it is by far way better than my old set up. Smooth shifts. Great gear changes. Some chatter, but not much. Great expireance with IPP

I love mine. It does chatter tho. Hoping it gets a little less noticeable after I install my exhaust.
