Default Motor Mounts question

Hello, I recently found a leak coming from the area around my passanger side lower motor mount and I wanted to ask if anybody knew for sure whether these motor mounts are hydraulic or not. The oil is kind of thin and clear/yellow so im not sure if it is engine oil or something else.

Also any recomendations for replacements if it is the mounts? Thanks

No your motor mount isn't hydraulic. It's probably coming from your axle boot or something. I can't think of any type of oil that's yellow from the factory lol.

check your engine oil and your coolant, only two liquids that can possibly be yellow, and from what i remember our mounts are polyurethane and dont have oil in them.

You do realize the 350z has axles in the rear, not the front?

You had me scratching my head for a second. I actually had a guy that works at a drag strip ask me if my car was FWD the other night. I couldn't believe somebody that is involved in motorsports would not know the 350z was RWD.

OP....sounds like fresh oil judging by your description, maybe a spill? Would be odd since its on the passenger side. I was thinking maybe brake fluid at first, but I cant see how it would have gotten there.

Must be my oil. I just changed the fluid so that explains why its clear still. I cleaned the area the other day so im going to check where it is dripping by. Only thing that comes to mind would be the oil filter housing because I dont know of anything else above that in that area that would leak.
