Default Interpreting cam & crank signals

Does anyone understand the cam and crank signals? I need to understand how to detect when cylinder one is on the compression stroke.

This is required for an advance knock detection system I have design and would like to apply to the 350z.

If I can decode this information I can tell which cylinder is knocking.

i think the obvious starting point would be the Factory Service Manual...
