In addition to what has been posted.. the NISMO Z33... is to include the following options in Japan under an NISMO S1 option upgrade. Redline to go from 6,600 to 7,000 RPM. (I am really thinking of a cam swap !!!).

Note that Yuichi at StrictlyZ... came across this first during their pix and observations at the Tokyo 2004 Auto Salon exhibition...
especially regarding the larger airpipe and carbon fiber airduct ..which goes from the stock 70 .. to 84... nice !!

so does this work along with the resetting package or is it the next level up from the resetting package?

they need to hurry up and release the R1 engine. 340hp 7600rpms.

 

Not certain.... since NISMO has not released any info as yet regarding the S1...

The added parts (compared to the Sports Resetting shown in my signature) are...

1/ camshafts
2/ the air pipe and air duct (carbon fiber)
3/ engine cover (carbon fiber)
4/ connecting rod bolts

 

So far the official S1 package was a TAS only thing....but it looks like it will be an option at some point in the future.

I'll try to get some more details this week for those interested

Is 70mm the stock diamater of the stock airpipe? Anyone know off hand the diameter of any of the aftermarket pipes?
