will stock clutch lines work on aftermarket clutch
i sent my z in (08 @ 57k miles)
and was able to get a new tranny put in
i know a service manager and he worked it out since im almost out of powertrain warranty
they replaced the slave cylinder and tranny and i have aftermarket clutch *which from the tech was valued over 1k, he stated the flywheel was at a 1000 by itself so it was a good idea to reuse since it is in great condition*
and the clutch lines are different than the more refined tranny from my stock 08 one, the tech said the car wouldnt move after install and said it was the lines were bad and wouldnt let it work since they were from a older model tranny and didnt mount properly
does anyone know if the clutch lines matter?
the past owner did a few things to the car and being it has aftermarket clutch and flywheel will the stock clutch lines work on the aftermarket?
the problem i encountered before the tranny was replaced was a squeak and sort of chug in first starting from a stop.

Honestly, don't follow your post very well (i.e. more refined tranny from my stock 08?, clutch valued at over 1k?, ..... anyway).
The stock 08 clutch lines do not need to be changed when they install a new transmission and they are not a normal part that is changed when replacing a transmission. The reason it will not move is more likely to be related to the fact that the hydraulic clutch system is a PITA to bleed especially when opened and lots of air entering the system.

I'm little lost also... When I upgraded my clutch/flywheel I put ss line on as well. As far as I know it gives the clutch a better feel....
Bleeding this thing was harder then changing everything on my back with hand tools. Took forever turns out needed a new slave. Got a tip that a guy does. Uses a pry bar to fully engaged the slave and get last amount of air out.

The lines as far as I know will not cause the problem your stating. It will just give your leg more of a work out and they will wear faster. Just replace the line and get someone who knows how to bleed these
