Default Tilton Flywheel help!!

Hello fellow Z owners,

I am on the hunt for a Tilton lightweight flywheel for my HR, but I have been searching everywhere if anyone has pair the Tilton flywheel with a JWT clutch. I found the flywheel I just need that info. Any information is greatly appreciated, want to get my HR back on the dyno and get that 330+whp!!!

Thank you guys,

- Manny

Tilton has an HR flywheel? I know they made a clutch & flywheel for the DE and that was discontinued a while ago.

Yes sir. For VHR and HR. I just need to know it just getting the flywheel and with my JWT clutch will not screw up something, or even mate up with the JWT clutch. If so then I will go back to the dyno and surpass 330whp on my HR.

I thought they only made a flywheel that is combined with their clutches. I've never known them to sell universal flywheels for our vehicles.

Yup they just got back to me Tilton did quit making these for 350Zs but Aasco still makes them they do only fit their 7.25" clutches so simply won't work.

. Back to the drawing board.

I haven't seen any good reviews on their clutch's drivability.

seriously? they are probably one of the smoothest on the market. Their multi disk clutches are praised for smooth engagement.

As for flywheels they are just a machined chunk of metal so it doesn't matter which brand you choose as long as they can machine it flat like it's supposed to be.

Whats wrong with the 7.25" clutch and why can't you just order the clutch if you already have the flywheel? I also do not recall them ever making an HR VHR flywheel.
