Possible snapped CSC
Hey guys,
Im pretty sure its the CSC that shat itself but just want to make sure before i buy parts and invest a whole day to work on it.
Initially, the clutch pedal felt slushy. Pushing it, there was a bit of resistance for it to spring back. Stopping at the light, it finally gave out, the pedal just goes straight to the floor. I checked the fluid and it was just below hte min level. No signs of leaks.
Jacked up the car and had someone push in and out the pedal and the fork doesn't seem to go in and out of the transmission case. Pictures below. At this point, the fluid levels, while being jacked up, is way below the min level, but still no signs of leaks. I filled it up but to no avail, probably requires bleeding.
So with the symptoms above, is it safe to assume its the CSC and a bleed will fix the problem? Or is it something internal to the gearbox that requires a tow to the work shop?

Ok so the slave definitely looks screwed up, however...that is a very extreme angle that the clutch fork is creating. Is the clutch fork really loose? Try peeling back the rubber boot in the trans. and looking around as best you can.

CBF level is over 9000.
Getting a shop to do it. Since im dropping the tranny, im going to replace the clutch too.
At the moment, my shopping cart at CZP consist of:
CZP upgraded fork and pivot ball
Exedy ceramic twin disc with flywheel kit
Unsure if the clutch kit is overkill for my needs.
I have a single turbo kit putting out ~450nm of torque.
Its either that or the JWT which seems to be popular on this forum

JWT is my favorite for OEM block boost. Cheap, resurface-able flywheel (just swap in a new plate), and feels alot like stock and can handle anything a boosted OEM block can put out. My 11.x quarter mile runs and 1.6 60-ft's were all done with my JWT. Still holding strong after at least 50 passes too.
