Haha its okay. Its not just the exchange rate...its the taxes and border fees that KILL IT when I buy items from the US.
OP, with $5k I would buy a used supercharger kit. You can find a full kit with fuel system and ECU managment for under $5k and EASILY run 300whp. That's what I would do if you are installing it yourself.

Forced induction is the only way you'll get to 350 horsepower on that budget. Don't expect reliability though. If you stay NA you won't even see 300 horsepower at that budget but at least it will be more reliable than FI. Pick your poison, big power and the possibility of destroying your motor or little power that can still last until the 200k+ mile mark nissan designed these cars to last to.

I slowly am checking in on this forum less and less due to the ignorance I find when I do check. People ask the same questions over and over do one search and you will figure it out..

This idiot should really try using google. I have literally solved 99% of my problems using google: 350Z (key words from question here).
Hell I even swapped my first clutch myself using google and this website.

This topic has been talked about a million times, of course people are going to flame him. But op I'll help. Forced induction, built internals, a nice tune and you'll be well over 350hp at the crank i think a supercharger will be better in my opinion over a turbo. There. I spoon fed the noob.
