installed a po charger.... got a whistle sound
No its not what that thread is about. Like i said, i never had this problem before when shutting down the car. Its just ever since i installed the pop charger i got that wierd sound.
When parked and in nutural and no foot on the clucth and i shut down the car it shuts down and right before all the noise stops i hear these clanky noise. However if i park the car and have foot in the clutch and when i shut down the car i hear no sounds at all. Just like normal.

I have this same exact whistle from Ztube/Pop charger on my G35 6mt. It happens under partial throttle from 3k - 4k rpm, then goes away. I think it may be coming from the throttle plate actually. I heard it very slightly after I changed in the z-tube, probably because it eliminates that resonator on the G tube, then a WHOLE lot more with the Pop charger on, I think since it elimates all the sound baffling that the stock box had in place.
Also, the rattle you hear on shut down is probably from the clutch. Clutch in at shut down = quiet, out = rattle and clatter.
Supposedly normal per my dealer.

Installed mine this weekend....throatier exhaust note and looks cool. I get the whistle too but I dig it. I didn't drill holes in the plastic inlet tube as specified by the instructions eihter.
Power gains? Maybe, but I didn't notice much.....

Just kidding you OSIE. I had a grand time fishing out a couple nuts of my own when I installed the grounding kit. I have the pop charger and z-tube in the garage waiting to be installed. This weekend I'll have time. Hope you solve your mystery noises.
