Jagged hole in my passenger side cyllinder heads? Should I be worried? Where does that hole lead to? lol

Changed out my valve cover today.... noticed this, but haven't had any adverse problems besides misfires from leaky spark plug tube seal/bad coils recently.

 

Air hole in the casting. Doesn't do anything.

 

Okay cool, thanks. Was hoping it was just a shitty cast that didn't matter.

 

I'll make sure no debris originate from it.

 

Unless this engine is just coming off the production line and never went into a car it's too late for that.

That's the exact reason I change the oil after just 20 miles of driving a new engine. There is machining debris.
