to get it running or to get it running as a revup? getting it running as a revup isnt worth the time just to pick up exhaust cam phasing literally hundreds invested in new ecu and wiring to get pretty much nothing, to get it running though you would install it as normal but wouldnt have anything plugged into the exhaust cam phasers or exhaust cam sensors and it would run as a standard DE with slightly larger cams.

then use the cash you saved from not trying to get it to run like a revup to tune it and your ahead of the game lol

Hi I'm probably in the wrong thread for this but thought I would just ask. I did a engine swap in my 04 350z and swaped with same kind of engine but with just less miles. Now when i try and start the car it wont start or will start up and idle real low and ruff and then dies. I have gone over each wire andchecked all connections. I even had a new timing chain and tensioner installed and it was put in top dead center and timed correctly. Do i need to do any relearning procedures for the engine/ecm? Please help you can?

could be injectors hooked up wrong, could be coils plugging in wrong(most common two there) could be crankshaft timing ring, heck i could go on all day didnt give nearly enough details on what everything was done, what year engine, what parts where reused, what parts are brand new, very well could be the timing chain wasnt actually installed correctly who knows. not something that can really be diagnosed on the internet since we cant see everything that was done.

heck its possible the "new" engine wasnt even in working condition.
