BC has its cams that are close to what you are looking for and so does tomei.
I have bc stage 2 and no issues or complaints.

Sounds like anything more than 11mm of lift and you could potentially hit the pistons with the intake cam programming

aftermarket piston half valve reliefs.

I would call, BC and JWT, talk to them. My bets are that they would know best.

If you're running FI you'll run a different cam profile than if you're running NA. Make this clear when spec'ing out the cam.

I'm running 11:1 wisecos w/ JWT c8's 272 in/ex 12.01mm lift. You wont have piston-valve contact issues unless you start running mid-12:1+ compression from what I was told by Kyle @ IPP with this set of cams. Also, make sure you compare cams vs price. Tomei's and BC cams are more expensive than JWT if you include their valve springs, and are not as aggressive.

I imagine you'll be fine with JWT C8's on a stock engine, however you wont be able to make complete use of them without upgrading your oil pump, and internals. 264dur cams have netted over 300whp for some built block VQ35DEs along with supporting mods. If FI is in your future though, you're just wasting money chasing NA power.

If you plan on FI in the future, and are simultaneously thinking about cams... on a stock '03 VQ35DE... you're in for trouble. QTB's on point about NA vs FI cams. FI cams while staying NA on a stock engine are a total waste of money. You're going to blow the '03 VQ35DE very quickly more than likely, and just have to build the motor. The early engines are not boost-friendly.

They are hard to boost with stock internals. I did and learned my lesson the hard way. So new build is in the process.

Stock DE, should limit to 350whp IMO. 400whp and above is where I've heard **** starts to break quickly on the VQ35DE.

What is your opinion based off of?? 350whp will hold all day on a stock de. Above 400 is when it gets a little more dangerous. 450 is pretty much the tipping point. Obviously this is provided you have a good tune. I ran mine at 350whp for several months no problems.
