Anybody using Z1 crank pulley?
Evening all
Over in the UK we only really have the option of AMS and Stillen pulley kits. I wont use AMS as the quality is dreadful and Stillen is way overpriced. I dont want to underdrive either
Im only looking for the crank pulley and have seen Z1 do it, anyone running one?
Want to know if its got the seal on the back and wether the balance rubber is on there aswell?
Cheers

Il give them an email, Ive got there breather hose kit on my Z seems good enough. Hopefully the pulley has both things I need on it would be a nice addition to my lightweight flywheel
Does anyone actually run one on their Z? Or do you guys mostly use AMS etc

1) no it is not harmonically balanced, the only aftermarket options are ATI or fluidamper.
2)lightweight does essentially nothing except for a little free rev, which is nothing since the car isnt going to move or generate any power in free rev. it needs load to generate power. all the power from pulleys is made from under driving accessorys and even that is only minimal power
3)it does absolutely nothing the 2 or 3 whp people see is entirely within a dynos margin of error and the very next dyno could read 3 whp less then the base line and 6 less then the one after the install. figure this, a flywheel is dropping 15 lbs off a roughly 13 or 14 inch circle and only sees ~8-10 whp. a pulley drops 2-3 pounds off a 6 inch circle, the energy from the weight and centrifugal force to spin that flywheel is easily 60 times greater then that of the pulley due to the weight being further out and much greater. if you want a demonstration sit in a computer chair and have a friend spin you while you hold two 10 lb dumbells straight out, then do the same with your hands and weight held close to your chest. same principle going on. the whole "but my butt dyno says!" is complete BS, there is no such measurement as a "butt dyno" and any felt gains are nothing more then your brain working as the powerful tool it is and you experience the placebo effect, you spent money on something to make you faster, so you believe you are faster and tell yourself it is faster, then your brain forces your body to react as if you are going faster all the while performing exactly the same.
