Default Camshaft Position Sensor harness connector

Service engine soon light is on in my Z and after scanning, I found out it's the passenger side Camshaft Position Sensor. Now, this sensor was easy to get to and unbolt, however the harness plug is being a huge PITA. If anyone can offer some help to remove it, please chime in.
I tried prying with a flathead from the front, and the top and it seems to be very stuck. It's starting to get mangled, and before I do any more damage to the plug, I'm hoping someone can give me the correct way to remove the plug from the sensor as it's my last step. Thanks in advance!
Here's a pic of the plug down below to help out.

Okay, finally figured it out. You have to push the entire inner piece toward the actual sensor, sliding the whole inside piece all the way in until it clicks (takes quite some force, had to push with a flathead to get it all the way down), then stick a flathead between the plug and the sensor and pry a bit until it comes apart.
Strangest harness plug I've had to deal with, as most of them are just push down on the tab and pull, but I guess harder to break as I nearly mangled mine!
