Inside joke, but you better order headers since it only makes sense to install headers if youre doing the knock sensor.

Basically the harness clips to the back of the rear coolant pipe and the sensor that is down in the valley of the intake runners/engine.

Look for DIY to remove the entire plenum and that should be enough.

Knock harness connector is a light blue color with offset winges on it. 2 wire connector.

With small hands you may be able to reach into the intake valley and unclip/re-clip.

^ Those will have to be some tiny hands, lol. But yeah, +1 to what Cux350z posted.

Oh, and thread moved to the correct section (your thread isn't a DIY so it doesn't belong in that forum).

There are a few good write ups. I just replaced mine a month or so ago. You have to remove the upper and lower plenum, the intake manifold piece under the lower plenum, and it's right there. The write ups here tell you you have to remove the fuel rails but you don't. Just get someone to hold it to the side or set it to the side without bending any of the hard lines.

The harmless connection that meets on the coolant pipe is held on a bracket w a 10mm bolt holding it..I took that off and rerouted it along w another harnesson firewall when I had all my stuff apart. Get further away from heat and makes it super easy to mess w next time. Sucks to take all that **** apart for a single 12mm bolt and stupid harness. GL and get some headers while you're in there. Lol

You're supposed to replace the lower intake gaskets during this job, but some gasket sealant will work if you don't want to replace them.
Cover up the fuel line connection before you take it apart so you don't risk spraying fuel in your eyes.
The connection at the other end of the harness is a bear to get at, I relocated mine.
Be sure to use proper torque when re-assembling everything.
Now's a great time to vacuum out the valley.
