i am 20 yrs old, i dont know much about cars i just started modding things, and i can install headers, i got a spoiler cause it looked cool and was less than $100 and i wanted a spoiler on the lancer cause they look weird to me with out it, the muffler tip was for sound and YES it did cause it to sound different, i was also looking to turbo that car but it was a whole different thing then this
to npr350z if he didnt do an engine swap it either had a 4g93 or a 4g64(i believe thats that one for the ones older than 06)

also a spacer for the intake manifold is useless if its going to be p/p you all can say whatever you want but im young and doing research idk these things i havent been working on cars since i was 3 yrs old like some of you may. i also dont need you all criticizing my build when this was never about my build, the only reason it was mentioned was because you all thought i was talking just bolt ons, i know what the parts cost ive already looked them up and bookmarked them, if you guys dont want to help someone learn then STFU AND GO TO A DIFFERENT THREAD, but as for now i dont have any questions some of you need to get your facts straight, and btw before anyone says something about this, i know the lancer is not an evo and never claimed it to be one, they are fun little cars, but not good build platforms, they just dont get much power out

Guess what? I'm 19. This is my first car. My mod list is (bought the car all stock) k&n typhoon, z1 test pipes and plenum spacer, cusco strut bar, polished upper plenum, autotechnic cf air diversion plate, aerosync front bumper with Jdm nismo sideskirts and g35 rear splash guards & 19" rays, rarejdm wiring harness cover, 370z side markers... About to either get a lsd or exhaust. My car isn't the nicest z on this forum but it looks good. It's not a ricer. So the fact that you are young has nothing to do with anything. You're too lazy to learn.

Man.. My car isn't the quickest, and it isn't the best looking, but it's getting there... I took the time to learn a little bit about the car and have never started a dreamer thread. I'm keeping it n/a because I can't afford the huge fancy turbo build I want. But It kills me seeing all these people coming to the forums asking questions that are common sense answers and it just so happens 99% of them are my age. It just gives my generation a bad name..

mmm for that price ill save some money and id almost rather just put a lip on my moon face cracky bumper! im really leaning towards a v2 rep front and sides...i know with my varrstoens im the cliche modded z! but it looks so good!

 

Lol. I love the "baller status" of real stuff, but real stuff it real expensive. I've fitted duraflex bumpers before and they were okay at best. But the material they were made of was pretty bad. After seeing one crack in half, I knew whatever I got had to be poly. And the only lips I liked were the mines and veilside lips. Which were just as expensive as my bumper.

 

Shine makes really good fitting replica stuff though. If you wanna be even more cliche, grab their amuse front! Looks awesome but I'm seeing it more and more lol.

 

oh yeah that amuse is sexy! but im not ever gona buy fiberglass. im a poly kinda guy. like i know fiberglass will be ok 90% of the time, but all it takes is that one rouge shoping cart and crack...darnit we live in the 90's and these bodykit companys need to get with it!
but im okay with cf...so go figure, lol

 

Shine makes great quality nismo sideskirts, and they're frp, not 100% fiberglass.. But I'll trade you if you get your hands on some greddy sides or a aerosync rear..

 

if i ever got some parts made of unutanioum id stash them for a few years, then bust them out and be like bam! money bitghes! ive heard good things about forcewerks rep kit, but shine and them are in my bookmarks. and for the rear i figure a topsecret ir vis rear diffuser will be it.

 

When I get a little more cash, I'll be ditching the nismo sides. I just needed them to go with the bumper and couldn't afford greddy sides. For my rear I'm in love with the chargespeed bumper with the cf diffuser. There's a replica for sale in the market place right now but I want to try to pick up a real one.
