Default Few Questions.

Well I have decided to go with some performance mods ( just some ) before getting wheels/tires.

So I ordered my JWT pop charger ( should be here tomorrow )
Would anyone like to help me install it, maybe someone with previous experiance? I know theres some of you in the area. I am just affraid of messing up the MAF and throwing a CEL.

The big question. Should I get the Borla TD or the Crawford High Flow cats first? What are your reasons?

Is $500 for the high flows the best price around?

Which makes more power? The Borla or the cats?

How does the stock exhaust sound with the High flows?

Annnd Last, how will the Crawford Plenum do with warranty work form Nissan? How long would it take to swap out for the stock one if I do need warranty work done?

Ok I know that is quite a list of questions. But any help would be great.

Thanks.

- Jason

Get the cats as they make power throughout the powerband apposed to just above 5K like the borla. Plus you will lose some weight from the replacement. Think its 12 Lbs..

The Plenum will take about 1 hour to swap but make sure you get new gaskets if you plan on replacing more then once..

cats make more power then any cat back exhaust...

RT High FLow Cats are CARB certified... so that will help you in California...

500 for RT high flow cats from me for forum members...

We can install your pop charger and high flow cats for you if you want to drive out to us in Duarte CA just east of Pasadena...

I have heard that the RT cats are more raspy then the Crawfords. This is true?

Also, are the Crawfords CARB legal?

Raspy if they are not installed properly... but so will any Test Pipe or High FLow Cat... heck... even the stock cats if not installed properlly..

I have had people return cats because they are "raspy" we put them on our cars... they are perfect...

installer error is all we can link the problem too...

RT Cats have 5 year /50000 mile warranty on the exterior... 3 year 36000 on the cat element i believe...

Jason,

What do you mean by not installing correctly?

not tightning all the way, gasket out of place or off, gasket damaged, 02 sensor not re-inserted properly or removed and damaged...

the thing alot of people forget the most is that with any sound increase there will be an increase in noises...

unfortunatly for people who dont want loud but want speed... Speed = Loud...

Yes but there are both good and bad louds..

And I am still curious, which is more raspy, considering both are installed properly. Crawford or RT.

See I want speed, and I want loud, but I want a good loud, without being to annoying.
