Default 03 de engine

Hi
I recently replaced my motor with a stage 1 built motor and I was wondering what I should do with my old motor that has a spun main bearing. It has around 100000 miles on it. If I part it out what could I get vs selling it whole plus realisticly what would I be leftover with to get rid of.
Any input helps!

J-

Keep the motor to tinker with, you can also rebuild it just incase you Stage 1 motor dies on you. Or sell it so some one else can use it as a spare motor.

Generic term, depends on the building company.

Topgear- if you have the room to store your VQ35DE, keep it. You'll never make much money from parting it out- nobody wants parts from a damaged, high mileage engine. But if it is rebuildable, AND you have the skills, tools and knowledge needed, it does retain some value as a rebuilt engine.

Realistically, if you can't store it, selling it as scrap would be your only other option.

Yeah I figured as much. I have it covered in a shed I assume thats enough I considered swaping it into an old datsun or something if I could get all the right pieces for the build
