Do A LOT more research before you do any mods. From what it sounds like neither you nor your friend knows very much about cars. But to answer your question a huge NO you will gain nothing from changing injectors, more than likely you won't even be able to run your car with them.

P.S. really do a lot of research and search old posts. People on most forums do not like when people ask questions that have been answered many times. You should also try to learn at least some of the basics about cars and modifications for your own benefit.

As long as you are putting bigger injectors in, you should run a 250 shot of nitrous, then you will really feel the power.

Honestly I think nitrous is the only way it will work since injectors that big won't pull enough fuel. A 500 shot would probably be your best bet.

You may be on to something, but just to play it safe, make it a 2 stage kit starting at 300 shot and then a 500 shot.

what in the hell is preformance? if you do the bigger injectors, make sure you have the leaf blower super charger, and the body kit from Anthony, and then let dugan show you how to drift..... two of the best on the forum

Don't listen to him, he is trying to steer you away from good advise.

I'm not sure a twin stage 300-500 shot will be enough with those injectors. Either pick out a slightly smaller injector or bump the nitrous up a bit further. I think you should be well within the 70-80 hp gain you are looking for.

Did this same friend tell you stickers add 5 hp? How many "Illest" and "I love JDM" stickers do you have?

Ill be honest, I dont know too much about cars, thats why im here and I really want to learn.

My buddy who will help me knows alot about Mazda's, not too much on Nissans. My roommate has a Speed3 that is pretty quick and eats me because im stock. Obviously.. I need to be faster than him haha

So my main question that I had here was what mods have you guys found to be best for the Z? Im looking into dropping a turbo in, but not sure if it would be better to supercharge it for drift reasons, (taking a turn as boost hits in will fling out my back end)

the cost to HP ratio for the z sucks, I dropped about $3300 to get 16 whp.

You really need to talk with Dugan. He is the forum drift king and can give you the best advise about turbo or supercharger for drifting.

Don't give up on the injectors. That's your best bet for cheap power.

These cars aren't diesels. Can't just add more fuel and expect to gain power.

if you do any mods with fuel or air you would need to do a tune to make sure they are working properly and running the right AFRs. A waste like others have said because the oem engine is pretty topped out as it is.

I am going to lay down the heartbreaking news right off the start here. Realistically, you will never get even 25 more HP out of the existing engine unless you boost it, or use nitrous.

If you want to make your car fast, you need to start researching boost or engine swaps, and save up a minimum of probably $5000 to start your journey.

if you looking for serious HP your gonna have to boost the Z. I recommend you read up on combustion engines. Sounds like your buddy was having fun with you. An engine is basically a big air pump limited by its displacement, compression ratio, and ability to ingest air naturally.
