Default Drill heads to convert to REVUP

I've seen a few mention that DE heads can be drilled to accept the exhaust timing solenoids.

Has anyone done this? I searched around quite a bit and was unable to find anything. I know where the bosses are cast and have seen them, but I am unsure about dimensions without going and looking at the old de heads off my 02 maxima.

If anyone has done this can someone please point me in the correct direction?

I am looking to build a long block for my revup car and it seems that non revup engines are much easier to procure.

I had my machinist do mine. Dimensionally the exhaust and intake sensors are the same. I just gave him a sensor and he machined it out for me with the correct bolt thread too.

$650

But I can't really say for sure how much specifically for the sensor holes exactly because he did a redecking, polish heads/3 angle valve job and install of my new JWT valve springs/viton seals.

Thanks for the heads up. I may end up doing it myself. I think it should be reasonably straight forward.

If I do it I will definitely make a write up. Seems that all the hard parts style builds that are done aren't documented, and I would like to bring some more info to the community.
