What part is this?

A PO didn't take care of this well and I'm trying to fix up some things and would like to know if this needs to be addressed.

Last picture is the part with others for location reference.

I'm pretty sure its a bolt that bolts your plenum down.. but looks like they used that spot to put a brace on the intake? instead of putting it on the maf/filter and bolting to the body

That bolt is where the oem intake pipe is bolted down. Just looks like the tab to brace the crappy aftermarket intake there broke off the pipe and was left on. its not really necessary and the bolt serves no other purpose.

This is correct, it is not a bolt for the plenum, just for the intake. Aftermarket intakes usually have a brace from the air filter to the body instead of utilizing the stock brace.

The ac compressor is out, the belt is dangling, the tensioner is loose, the pulley fell off, the wiring is facked, the condenser has cracks, you bought a used car with questionable miles, possible front end collision, the list goes on and on... and on... but from what I see in the pic, a simple cheap intake bracket is broken.

Haha, no the intake cut open the high pressure line AC. It was probably bouncing because this support bracket is no longer a support.
