Default Planning Mods for new 350z, please help

I finally test drove a 350z a few weeks ago because I had been reading up on modifications to the car and I had to make sure I at least fit in it and liked how it drove. All I can say is it fit me like a perfect glove. Test drove a brickyard touring. That day I started selling all the extra computer stuff I have. I'm planning on buying a new Daytona Blue Enthusiast in a few months after I raise enough money to get my payments down.

Anyway, I plan on replacing the intake and the catback exhaust right off the bat. I'm pretty much sold on the JWT Popcharger for intake replacement.

I'm really mixed up on cat back exhaust though. I have used the search feature, listened to the exhaust page on everything350z, and watched various videos.

I like the sound of the Injen true dual exhaust, but I want it to be straight back and not slanted, then I really liked the RSR exhaust. The problem is, after a little while I will want to get some aftermarket headers and high flow cats and I don't want my exhaust to sound like crap after adding them. Plus I want to have true dual exhaust and I don't think that the RSR exhaust is that.

I started thinking about the stillen exhaust because it shows good hp and tq gains through the power band. But I have read that it is not very loud and is way overpriced. One question is, who has headers, high flow cats, and the stillen true dual exhaust and can you post/email me some video/sound clips to help me decide.

Another question I have is does anyone else have any other video/sound clips that they could post/email me of other header/high flow cats/and catback exhaust(that are true dual exhaust) to help me make my decision.

I have seen the clip of the borla headers and the rsr exhaust. I do not want to get the borla headers because I have read that they do not give very good gains, nor am I interested in the borla cat back exhaust.

Sorry this post is so long, but I have been holding back posting so that I could read up on stuff so people didn't tell me to use the search function...

Any help is greatly, greatly appreciated!!!

First break it in then start adding mods. Just my 2 cents.

oh yeah, I had planned on waiting until at least 1200 miles, running it at the track, then somewhere in between then and 2200 miles I would replace the catback exhaust and intake. Then run it again at the track.

You better be selling several enterprise servers to get what you want.

Don't discount the Borla exhaust. It sounds incredible and has the biggest gains of the exausts out there.

I've seen the supposed gains of the borla cat back exhaust but it comes in too many pieces and I have read that over time it is a burden with leaks and I think it rubs on the body somewhere, but I might be wrong about that.

Mine doesn't rub the body, roll bar, or axle and the only leak is mostly from the H pipe (which you can get welded for $10). I put it on myself in an hour.

The nice thing about clamps and pieces... is that it's easy to adjust and you can sell it later (easy off, no welds to break).

hmm lemans sunset roadster, that sounds like a pretty combo, have any pictures uploaded? not trying to offend the borla people, I know they make good exhaust.

Anyone have headers, hi flow cats, and cat back exhaust? all of them together that is... any vid/sound clips?

true dual vs a single pipe will make zero difference honestly...the gains from an intake and exhaust are negliable on this car, moreso than on other NA cars

PM sent to you z1 performance, I realize that with this car there isn't much diff between single and dual exhaust, but I wish to have dual exhaust, as true as it can get but with still being street legal in Delaware, yes crappy Delaware, I will stop posting cause I have been drinking with friends here and might not make much sense soon.

I forgot to mention yesterday I got some really awesome news, got an im from a friend of mine telling me that he is going to start training on monday to be a car salesman at the local Nissan dealership and is going to hook me up in a few months when I am ready to buy my Z.

I've done some more reading, I think I'm going to go with the Stillen Cat back exhaust with the new tips and the popcharger for my first mods. Then a little later get the Stillen headers (even though they are really expensive) and some cats.

Any differences in what cats to get? What are the best high flow cats to get for the price/hp tq increase? I'm not considering test pipes though. Anyone out there have all three mods on their car: Stillen headers, high flow cats, and Stillen catback exhaust on their z that can make some sound clips or videos? I can host if the file(s) aren't too big.
