well I got into the ECU, the light blinks 3 times, 10 times, and 2 times. 3102 ??

does anyone know what that code means?

Also is there a list of code #'s and what they mean??

 

According to the service manual the "10x blink" represents a "0" for the code so the code is.....0302.

Yea but they are usually random misfires.

 

well the engine light went away today when i started it up...

is it something I should be worried about? the car only has 4k.

 

If it doesn't come back on I would not be too concerned about it.

But, If your worried, you can take it to the dealer and have them do a code scan. That's what warranties are for.

Could the gas cap cause this? Because right before it came on i filled the tank up 1/2 way. Then when I noticed the light on I thought it might be the gas cap, so I went back and filled the tank full and made sure the cap was tight then came home and left it over night. I cranked it up this morning and the light is gone...

 

No, bad gas caps usually throw an emissions type code.
