Default Correct Oil Catch Can Install?

So ive had this setup for a few month off a youtube video a guy did on his DE motor that had tons of views and comments. So I tried it out and seemed to work car didn't act up or anything. Now im seeing guys run the hoses to just the PASS SIDE and not the driver side and leaving the valve cover hose connected to the intake. Which currently I have the intake capped off and plenum capped off.

I would like to know way is correct on the DE with single intake?

right side goes to driver side valve cover and left goes to pass side pcv....

intake plenum capped off....

Plenty of threads on this. PVC-catch can-intake manifold (what you capped off) Driver side should stay the way it originally was.

Same here as above. I just put a catch can between the PCV on the passenger side and the intake manifold (plenum).

He would need a different catch can for that. His is to atmosphere, and would creat one hell of a vacuum leak

Solid point. Forgot to mention that mine does route air back into the plenum and not to atmosphere.

Yah it didnt work it just stalled out so i swapped it back! i think there are 2 ways to properly install a catch can on this car. All i know is its collecting oil and the lines have some nice color and moisture/thin sludge so glad i did the can install.
