Hi all, the semester has just ended for me and I can now catch up on some maintenance on the car.

Anyway, I'll be replacing the knock sensor sometime this week. However, I'm trying to figure out which gaskets I would need to replace while I'm in there. I konw i'll have to replace the upper/lower plenum gaskets but are there any more? It'll be my first time removing the entire plenum so I'm not entirely familiar with what's underneath of it. I've looked at pictures but none of them are very helpful.

Why you replacing your knock sensor?

 

I'm getting a p0327 code when I scan it with my reader. Looked it up and it appears to be a common problem. Says it's usually the harness that shorts out, but I might as well replace the sensor while I'm at it so I won't have to do it twice if it isn't the harness.

 

Well that makes sense then.
