Default It's pretty tough

Daily driving around town, especially rush hour traffic or commutes with lots of stop lights will not be fun with the Tilton flywheel and clutch.

I consider this the best mod I have done, but it is a lot of work. The car stalls a lot when it is cold, and really won't idle for about the first 10 minutes after you start it up on a cold morning. Launches even at slow speeds from a dead stop are difficult, but possible with practice.

This is really for people who have another daily driver, use their Z primarily on the racetrack and for weekend canyon runs, and only occassionaly drive it to work.

All that being said, I absolutely love it.

Did we bump your idle for you? Shouldn't be any issues when it's cold with stalling.

What do you recommend bumping the idle to? 800, 1000 rpm?

Would a slightly higher idle help with a JWT or Nismo flywheel?

Im trying to decide between this setup or the nismo flywheel with a nismo clutch, i do care about my 1/4 and 1/8 miles times so i want the one which will be better for the track, my z i a daily driver have 24k on it already, so what do u guys think?

p.s. how much is the nismo flywheels weight again?

Tilton on a drag strip... unless you have some really good grabby tires... dont think about launching above 1000 rpm...

Not needed with the JWT/Nismo but will help with the Tilton. 800/900 depending on the car.
