Default My Mods Update...And A Few Q's

note: this will probly only b interesting to the gentlemen who is in the beginning/intermediate stages of moddin his z. if u r past boltons, just click back.

i initially installed an aem intake on my car. didn't really notice anything except for sound, and perhaps a little less throttle response. everyone is hypin the popcharger now, so i got one. not a big ding in the wallet. to my surprise, it came in the mail today. i won't b able to put it on for awhile, but i will say the filter is the best i've ever seen. mightily impressed thus far.

moving along, i bought a set of borla headers awhile back. got em for 535 shipped; thought it was a good deal. i know they're not gonna give very good peak gains, but i've been told midrange should b quite decent for the price. i'm a poor man, so the dc headers caught my eye. i have a set of kinetix cats that should b arriving anyday, so when they come i was gonna have them installed along with my headers. the question is should i wait to see how the dc headers perform before i put the borlas in? if the dc's look good, i wouldn't mind switchin. u think the dc's will outperform the borlas?

oh yeah, lastly, can't wait to order my kr plenum!

cool; sounds awesome, man. i probly will do the minor boltons, then throw some juice at it. it's what i did with my old car (civic si). i was happy with it; definitely fun. i just wanna have something to mess around with a couple times a month on the street and a few times at the track a year.

as for the headers, everybody will wanna see peak gains. it's what sells, too. sometimes buyin for peak is not very cost effective though. u may b able to get a solid gain across more of your rpm range with a less expensive product. the borlas r and probly the dc's will b decent for the price. i am curious to see if the dc's will outperform the borlas; however.
