Default HR header on DE fitment problem

I recently fitted a set of HR headers to my DE using HR Kinetix cats.

Seems to be a common conversion.

However I have run into a major fitment issue on the RHS.

Pic is from another thread, as you can see the cat is couple of inches too low. I have exact same issue. (https://my350z.com/forum/intake-exha...s-on-a-de.html)

The cats are correct and made in a jig, so seems unlikely to be the issue.

Does anyone know if there are different HR headers? Or is this RHS side header off another model of engine? eBay seller says they were from a 350z with 28k miles... See pic.. they look like 350z headers to me.

I will try another used header soon, but would love to know what this incorrect header is from and help prevent others from making this error.

I picked up another header that new came from a 350z and sure enough, it fit just fine and the exhaust system is now bolted together. My parts guy did not seem to know what Nissan other header is from. Definitely not 350/370.

Initially it appears they are identical and for the most part they are, except for a slight difference in angle and length.. Turns out not everybody on eBay tells the truth when it comes to selling... who knew... lol

I wonder if that is from an fx35. It looks like its not an aftermarket piece, it looks like it was produced just like the 350z piece.

I did my HR headers on my DE while my motor was out, I would hate to do this with the motor in to realize that it didn't fit.
