I shld get better pics ... And the list of parts ... Ill do that wen im back home in a few days

Thanks jhc! I have a question for all the FI guys out there ... How do you improve grip? ... I mean ... Im running semi slicks (and yes i am aware that there for track not drag) ... I have front and back sway bars with bilstein shocks and tannabe springs ... My mechanic recommended i run 16" rear DOT slicks ... With the current r888's i keep spinning til mid -3rd gear

How much power are you putting down? Any control arms and camber?

The 350z are notorious for having problems hooking up.

Btw nice z, not a fan of the headlights though.

No camber arms or control arms ... I guess that should be my next mod
And yes 350's have an issue with the grip department ... Regardless thats one of the reasons why i cant open too much boost at the moment ... The last time i dynoed my car abt 6 months ago i put down 490 rwhp at 1 bar ... I opened 1.2 bar before but never dynoed it ... Honestly im waiting on my AEM water meth kit
And thinking of trying race gas for the first time with 1.4 bar ... But i cant do that until i solve the grip issue .... I wonder btw ... Does a darton sleeve block help that much ? Ive been told that the stress just goes else were and will break somewere else ...

Depend. The weakest part is the rods and piston.

Back on grip, youll need wide, quality tires along with those suspension mod.

Im only at 400whp, and im running 275s and only have grip issues in first. Youll need atleast 305s if not bigger. Might want wide body as well.

I already have the pistons and rods covered atm ... Ive been told our blocks are like bubble gum ... Thats why i asked abt the darton sleeves ...

Anyways im running 295 rears ... Honestly i think 16" rims with DOT slicks would be great ... I do not launch the car on high grip surfaces as i have already blown the driveshaft twice ... Ussually i accelrate rolling 40 or 60kmph

What are your alignment specs ? I would probably add some rear camber arms with toe bolts and adjust the camber to -0.5 with slight toe.

The new SPC cambers arms work great, then the SPC toe bolts are really the only ones on the market

I hate driving it wen i cannot accelrate .. The clutch and flywheel alone rape my left leg ... But i love my car ... Regardless driving it in the rain with no grip watsoever is dangerous ... Epecially since people here suck at driving ... I dnt have a front crash bar due to my intercooler ... That along with the fact i dont want some out of control kia picanto sliding towards my carbon

Hello RMF, I saw on one of your post that your Darton sleeves sunk.....? I wonder who installed them for you? I had my VQ35HR block sleeved by Darton them selves. I dyno'd at 897whp and 748tq. The car is running great! What did your car feel like when you sunk your sleeves?

Wooowww 897 wheel .. Respect man ... A garage called hydra performance built my car ... They informed me that the sleeves may sink since they cant use a CNC machine ... I didnt listen ... It happened ... Regardless the car refused to turn on .... Bro u look likeu knw ur parts .. Wat do u recomend i use to allow me to run higher levels of boost? Some people have told me that dartons only cause the stress of high boost to go elsewere .. Is that correct? ... Yea maybe ur right i shld order a sleeved block from darton themselves

I used darton sleeves because everyone says power levels over 800whp will warp your cylinder walls. Since I really want my build to last for a long time I had to have it sleeved to never worry about that problem. I would recommend havin a block sleeved at Darton. They took 3 months to sleeve my block because of work load. But the work done was legit. I also recommend aluminium connecting rods with ARP +625 aged rods bolts and 1200hp wrist pins.
