Default Upper Oil Pan Replacement Help!

Hey guys so I'm in the process of replacing the upper oil pan, everything under the car is off and the pan is ready to be taken out and replaced but I'm stumped. What's the best and easiest way to seperate the rtv holding the upper oil pan the to the block? Is there anything anyone has figured out as to what works best. I read the FSM and it says to use silicone cutter. I tried it but the rtv is solid as can be so the cutter doesn't really do anything. Any help?

Try and heat it up a little and be gentle with a pry bar.

Thats how we use to get stubborn pans off when I worked at a shop. Just be sure to leave 2 or 4 bolts half screwed in if the car is lifted to keep it from falling to the floor.
