Default Help!

My 350z only has 68k miles on it. I was driving it one day and hit a pot hole (at night) after the next morning it started to make this weird noise.. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=vMFiKS3ZY7s

i know it may be a hard concept, did you get under the car to look at things?

Thank you! And I didn't yet. But the sound sounds like it travels from the front to the back. I was thinking it was fan then fans are fine, then belt and maybe the things are loose, but then someone told me rod knock lmao. on snapchat. I will take a better video today. It get really loud idling when cold. And then when car is warmed up,the noise is quiet until reached 1,500 rpm

Their was a thread like a week ago with a noise that went away after the car warmed up that was some alternator bolts that were loose..

It makes a louder sound when cold

Check back when you've had your Z up on jackstands and examined the components underneath for damage. Pull the undertray and put a wrench or socket on all the bolts visible. Check the alternator bolts and other components for being loose. You might want to also use the opportunity to pull the wheel that hit that pothole and check it carefully for damage (cracks, flat spots or excessive runout).
