Default Check Engine Light-what do you think caused it?

I was driving my 2004 350Z on a 75 mile trip. I came to a stop sign and when I hit the gas pedal my 350Z barely moved. I had climbed from 1500 ft to 5000 ft over 13 miles right before I had stopped at the stop sig. I was driving slowly because there was road work. The engine is totally factory with no add ons. I parked it and went hiking for an hour and it drove back home fine. Any ideas?

It was the Service Engine Soon light

Im going to take a wild guess and say, flux capacitor.

Bring the car to an auto part store and get the code read. Then we might be able to help, other wise, its throwing darts at ducks hoping to hit a bullseye

It's error code U1000. U1000 NISSAN - CAN Communication Line - Signal Malfunction

It says there was a recall too.

The mechanic said he thinks it was a one time thing. He reset the code and so far it hasn't happened again.
