Default *HELP. Hard Shifting Issues.

Recently had a JWT clutch and flyhweel done. SS line, chromoly pivot ball, new slave cylinder(advanced part). Torque solution STshifter.

the shifter was installed a while after the clutch job. i Notice the shifts are a lot harder to get in gear but quicker. I actually took my car to the track for the first time this year to see how she launches. Here lies the problem. She launches nice, and i can powershift into 2nd, well now im not trying, and then once i go to put in third, fast, it wont go in and i have to go in 4th. I CAN NOT shift this car fast anymore. I was thinking:

A. Bad slave cylinder because i cheaped out with some ******** Advance part, and the new clutch is too much.
B. short throw shifter is misaligned.

Thats the only two things i can come up with, I am going to try and re bleed this weekend and go over the new shifter. but any help from some Vets would be appreciated. I was very bummed tonight that I couldnt shifter fast.

After leaving the track, I forgot to mention, she seems to hesitate taking off from a stop or a slow roll. which makes me lean more towards the clutch parts...slave/master slave.

Did you align the shifter correctly? Is it bled all the way?

I had some similar problems after my JWT clutch flywheel install. I had already upgraded the MC due to pedal drop a couple years prior. When I changed out the clutch and flywheel, I changed the slave as well. I also changed the fluid in the transmission and rear diff. When I was having some issues with hard shifts and getting it into gear, I ended bleeding everything again and it shifted much smoother. Following the break-in period, you'll notice it being less stiff as well. I would recommend bleeding everything again for good measure to eliminate the possibility of air in the lines. If you still have the OEM master, bleeding can be a PITA.

Im going to flush the fluid this weekend and out some better fluid in it. and check my shifter bracket by the spring etc... Thanks a bunch guys.

So I re bled the clutch and took a look at my shifter. couldnt align it this weekend..
The shifter still makes a loud vibrating sound but only in 2nd, 4th, and 6th. Which leads me to believe its hitting something low on the underside by the tranny and not a tranny or clutch problem. But I went to the airstrip this weekend and launched once, not hard, shifted aggressive but not HARD. noticed it hesitated from a stop after launchuing...This now leads me to believe its definitely a shitty slave cylinder. gonna be going with an OEM slave and Wilwood setup soon. Eliminate all this ********!
