Got a twin turbo 2005 6mt, the car is solely used for drift competitions, with a stock 3.5 final drive ratio, gear shifts are too short for a turbo'ed drift car! I'm considering installing the 3.3 gear set of the automatic 5 speed. Does any aftermarket maker offer a less than 3.3 ratio gear/pinon set?

 

Not that I know of , 3.3 I think is more than enough for your need

Exactly, that's my point, I've read that some 2007-2008 Pathfinder models have 3.1 ratio! Is that true & would it fit on a 350 ?

 

I just looked it up , the pathfinder do have 3.13 final drive 2005 model put not sure it the gears would be bolt on for 350z.

It would be great for FI community if it's where true for high hp cars

Damn I just installed my 3.3 with 609whp on pump gas , fun to drive.also my friend have a 880whp z ( sp racing tt ) he says 3.3 is worthless.
