Hey Guys,

Anyone have experience with the gates lower rad hose? I installed my upper and lower and then had issues with overheating and leaking coolant. I did a cooling system pressure test and found out that the top of the lower rad hose got cut by one of the engine belts.

I'm ready to replace it to see if I just needed to shift the hose a bit to one end or if it's a defect in the hose design. I've used gates products before and haven't really ran into any issues. Any advice, suggestions and experiences are appreciated. Thanks.

 

when you are fitting the hose make sure to give enough clearance for the pulley on that side. Had the same issue. Just back the hose off just a bit and make sure the clamps are tight and you should be good to go.
