Default 2005 engine variations

What is the difference between the two w/o 35th anniversary engines for a 2005?
My build date from a VIN decode is right on the change date so i want to be fully aware of the difference if i end up going engine shopping.

I seem to have a 11/04 build date but 6600 rev limit. I imagine the VIN decoder i used is inaccurate or units built in the month of November could have been in transition.
Thanks for the quick response so i know what to look out for!

The '05 6MT/35th cars had the 7K redline had the Rev-Up. All others had the standard DE, which sounds like your car.

I'll have to check the front of the engine. I have 6mt but i ordered it as a base model and sounds like i have a DE. So that might not categorize me perfectly. Will check it out and report back in case it helps anybody else.

I have a DE but I'm not sure what the used suppliers are getting at though.
By most 350z forums
03-04 then some 05 are DE. Track and 35th get Revup
06 all Revup if MT?
07-08 HR

According to most engine resellers
03 one engine DE
04 pick either thru 9/03 or from 10/03 - both DE
05 pick thru 10/04, from 11/04, or 35th annv.- All DE
06 pick auto or MT- both DE
07 one choice HR
08 one choice HR

I know a couple of reasons for the choices they offer but don't get some of the other distinctions they are trying to make. Why are they going by date codes for 04 and 05? When i was looking at 05 i assumed this was for RevUp but maybe not because there are also differences on 03 and 04 and the first 3 years seem like they should be the same.
Were there any changes in wiring harnesses or any other small changes to the ECU tuning or what? I'd be a little concerned what would show up if you placed an order. Or if you talk to them on the phone that they could guarantee anything from what they are trying to get you to choose from.

Anybody run into this before on used engines?

Technically they are correct in that through 06 the engin is still the VQ35DE rev up. But I think the rev up uses a different ECU and wiring harness.

Still can't come up for any reason for the date code on 2004 or 2005.
