looking at this 2-way. I hope to get a 2way eventually or just weld my open diff. But if this works, then why not?

They both use the R200 housing but not all R200s are created equal. Contact the seller and get as much info as you can about the car it came off of. Try and cross reference part numbers.
Regarding diffs, the Nismo 2 way or the Cusco RS in 2 way config will be as aggressive a clutch type as they come.
The cheapest avail in 2 way will be the Tomei or the Kaaz. Id imagine these should work fine but I only have first hand experience with the two above and the OS Giken.
