i purchased a 08 G35s 3.69 vlsd pumpkin off ebay. I got on a couple of search engines and asked in other groups. everyone seemed to think it was a direct swap for my 350z. My 2004 5AT is at the shop now. The tech said something about an input shaft size. we are at a stand still. Did i just have them start something that will not work at all?

I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure you need the stub axles also from the donor car to make it work(if it even does work). I would search that and see if that's your issue.
