Default AP Exhaust, what else

Hey a quick question as I'm getting ready to buy:
I'm looking to buy the Agency Power Single Exit Exhaust, what else do I need to complete this setup? Or will this exhaust hook up fine without any other parts? I can't find photos of it under the car, and to me it looks like it's not going to reach. Sorry, noob question here

I'm probably buying an X-pipe as well, heard those are pretty helpful.

You think a better Y-pipe? I'm done some digging and found that the X-pipe is the way to go

Just read this, can you clarify if this is true?
"Long-Tube Headers (no need for a test pipe)"
Long tube headers take them away? I'm going for long tube headers in the near future.

^ Ignore that.
"Long tube headers will replace our crappier stock headers and cats. Essentially like short tube headers + test pipes, but with a longer length before the tubes merge. This should give the biggest gain (best exhaust flow) and most likely save the most weight, but install is the most complicated."

A crossover pipe, be it H, X or some conglomeration thereof, is generally intended for dual exhaust systems. Now, technically, an MD XYZ is all of those things.... an X-pipe (merge), Y-pipe, and a Z-pipe if you use the resonator or HFC option. Hence the name...

Based on that, something else to consider.... if you get a traditional X-pipe like this one....

...to run with your Agency single, you'll need to bring the dual outlets back together to feed the single mid-pipe. (If it still even fits.) May as well get the XYZ and just run the Agency off the end of it. But warnin' you, that sucker's gonna be LOUD with no resonator and only an N1 type muff at the tip. XYZ with HFC or resonator would be my rec.

I would wait for the Tomei dual if I were you. If I knew of its existence I would have waited for it to come out. I'm personally not a fan of lth, I like my Tomei headers and they have the best fitment I've ever seen for this car.

Nice! Thanks for the help bro, I didn't even think about that problem with the single exit exhaust. When you say LOUD, would it be loud in a good way? Personally, I love loud roaring cars, have an 06 Mustangs with open headers, sounded pretty good imo.

Personally, I love the sound of a nicely tuned exhaust except when used obnoxiously. Like 4k rpm while holding a gear for no reason other than to try to impress people. It doesn’t.

But that’s more of a people problem versus the cars. 😆

I can't tell you if good or bad.... have to hear it. Probably about like the Tomei Single which sounds good but too loud for me.

Tomei will sound different due to being titanium but should be the same volume wise, titanium generally sounds a bit more exotic.

Based on what I've read, an x-pipe will make more power on a dual exhaust (cat-back) than an h-pipe. The AP exhaust you have here is an axle-back. So you could run this exhaust and stock y-pipe, or replace the y-pipe with something else, like Motordyne. The clearance on the AP seems to be fine. That crushed bit of piping guarantees better clearance than the Tomei, even though the Tomei made more power in a dyno test Z1 did.

They have been teasing on instagram for a few months, you can try asking them. I haven't looked into it because I literally had just got my new HKS a few months before they posted. If it's any similar to the FRS exhaust, it will basically be the current design with a split in the mid pipe. So it should still be pretty light.

As a follow up Tomei says a few months, they have a video of it on instagram now, it sounds nasty AF but a little too loud for my taste.

Not sure if that's good or bad. Front or rear movement?
