Negative effects of lowering springs
Hey , Just put some 19" rims on my zed and because of that i have enountered some styling problems. As a result of the incrwased rim size there is naturally a large gap between the tire and the car which has meant that the 19's dont even look that big.
I was going to dorp the car with Eiback pro kit which lowers the car .8" in the front and 1.2" at the rear. However, i have read a number fo threads in these forums in whcih people have claimed that lowering a car without a camber kit will result in tires wearing out at much higher rate. Other people in this forum have also said that by simpy installing lowering springs whilst leaving their stock shocks on has resulted in their stock shocks begining to make strange noises after a while. And in regsrds to the smoothness of the ride, if one simply installs springs how much bouncier will the car's ride become
Please help with this , THANKS!!

I have Eibachs on my car and the ride is excellent. Firm but not bouncy at all. I had the car aligned and it came very close to factory specs. I will probably buy rear camber arms soon but they are not a must.
You've posted this in the wrong forum area. But here is some info on the tire wear topic.

Scroll down to DavidM's post where he mentions tire ware and camber etc.

Mine have been on for several thousand miles I was an early adopter and the camber was normal in the rear and just slight in the front, suppose some of it is install related but I don't have any issues, the under steer and bounce are gona and the ride is like butter.
