need help with engine

I heard this knocking sound in the engine and I was told it could be the hydraulic lifters. If so, please explain.

Get another opinion, because the person that told you it may me hydraulic lifters does not know much about the Z.
The VQ35DE motor does not have hydraulic lifters

its probably the sound of the throwout bearing...
