Yeah not too sure on the point of these. Must be to give the turbo crowd another option, expensive as they are.

I think for Nismo's sake it would be good if they would also provide info on how much boost their piston's & connecting rods are capable of handling when placed in the motor. Also the initial drop in power from the lower compressio ratio. They'll need a lot of marketing or a blind following to be gullable enough to drop down over 3k for just parts that you can go aftermarket with for half the price.

Either way it's good to have Nismo as an alternative, but 3k+ for just parts is too much, I mean hell.... I dont even get the common courtesy of a reach around.

Nismo = Costs too much. There are other alternatives on the market that are just as good See SGP racing. Save the extra money and use it for something else. My 2 cents.

step back for one minute and look at the hole picture. they might be going fi, then again the might be doing it for another reason.

they might be doing it cause a certain rule in some race league they compet in may require that they use nissan parts that are available to the public throw nissan. just like ferria used to do and continues to do in certain theaters of racing. it may be a small part in a big picture just so they can do future stuff to the car for racing. maybe in 2000 what ever they want a low compression fi engine that comes with the car so they can use it legalie in a racing series. maybe they are working into making the motor some what resemble the motor that they are going to be putting in the 2007 skyline and this is a way to get that motor in to racing or just into the publics eyes.

ya just never know what they are doing cause some times people have to look out side of the box and lets face it if we are not even sure what box ur supposed to be looking at when ya get out side to look then well life starts to blow.
