Default Manual to Automatic transmission Swap

What parts would I need to convert my Manual Z to an automatic one?

Manual Transmission
Clutch Pedal
All of the shift linkage
Flywheel and clutch
All clutch lines and slave cylinder

At least.

You're better off buying a manual Z from the get go

My bad. It's late.

Gearbox
ECU
differential
drive shaft
auto cluster
shift linkage
brackets

You will also need a good idea of wiring to get it to work properly

Whether going from auto to manual or vice versa it is a much better idea to just sell and buy the car with the trans you want unless you are emotionally attached. It is way too much of a hassle doing the swap, plus it is costly and kills resale. A manual Z is highly sought after so you should have no problem selling and buying an auto. Hey, you may even come out ahead.

I couldn't have said it better.
It tends to go the other way because owners want a stick shift that bad. I strongly recommend saving yourself the trouble and swapping out for a Z that already has one.

Hey guys, I really need some help here. This isn't my first language so I don't even know how to make a good research for my issue.

I have a 2003 Z (vq35de) with bad tranny, I just bought a 2008 transmission and I'm trying to figure if it fits.

Really appreciate your help.

Will NOT fit. The trans in an '08 is a JK-40 (not CD00X) and is built to bolt up to an HR engine. Bolt pattern, clutch, clutch actuator (slave cylinder), input shaft are all different, sorry.

Why not trade on an auto one? If you were not that far, we could work on it.
