i have a tomei 1.5 way diff. installed on a street car. it locks almost all the time, can be annoying at times as it jerks the car around at low speed turns.
can i remove some spring clutch discs to make it more streetable?

 

Honestly, I'm not familiar with the Tomei 1.5 LSD. But removing essential parts like the spring clutch discs to create more slip doesn't sound like a good idea. Why not contact Tomei to get more constructive advice?

 

Maybe put some friction modifier in the diff oil. Have not tried this myself, maybe someone here has?
