Default Rough cold start startup issue

2008 350z problem
So this car has 170k miles
on cold start it sounds like it about to die for a few seconds you’ll start it up and some days it’s worse than other but I’ve noticed it’ll get down to like 250 rpm and sounds like it has somewhat a cam and then it’ll shoot to 2k rpm after a couple seconds

If you shut the car off and start it when it warm it’s perfectly fine I feel like it could be a sensor but it’s not throwing a sensor code

It only has one code and that it’s running lean on bank 1 so what much I check for first also I have an afr gague and it always has the correct readings of high 14 low 15 if that helps

Test the resistance (ohms) on your coolant temperature sender on the intake manifold. cold and hot. If it's 0 or infinity it's worn out (bi-metal switch). Check ATF fluid level, if it's topped off tranny might need service.

any idea if it’s not them things ima check them but the coolant temp sensor I read the symptoms of one failing and it doesn’t sound like that I also don’t belive it has anything to do with tranny because I worded it wrong it’s not a shudder it’s like it’s hesitation but I’ll still check it

You stated it idles very rough when cold and is fine after warmup. Exactly a temp sender symptom. Where did you "read" your info?

well it doesn’t stay a rough idle it’s only starting it the first few seconds when cold it’s rough and there’s no check engine light other than the sometimes a bank 1 too lean code but the afr gague doesn’t show it runs lean it runs perfect
