Default 2004 350Z Cranks Too Long

So I’m having a weird issue with my 2004 350Z. When the cars been sitting overnight, it starts right up. If I shut it down and start it up, it starts fine as well no problem. HOWEVER, when I leave the car for up to 30 mins to a few hours it cranks for about 2-3 seconds before it’s finally starts up. Any idea what this could be? I’ve replaced spark plugs, coil packs and even the fuel pump with no resolve. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

-Thanks

Try opening the gas cap before starting it (after 30 minutes or a few hours).
There might be a pressure or vacuum building up in your tank.

I tried unscrewing the gas cap and starting it and unfortunately it didn’t change the startup time.

Try pushing the gas peddle to the floor, releasing it, and then starting it. Any change ?

Also, try giving it gas while starting.

I’ve tried fluttering the gas peddle when starting it but I’ll try putting my foot to the floor later this evening and seeing what happens.

I think your pretty close on it with that one. Now that I think about it, I had a Z that did the same thing in the past, although it was throwing codes for a camshaft sensor. This one isn’t throwing any codes but I’ll look into that too and keep ya posted.

A friend of mine was having starting issues, never threw a code. When he replaces the sensors it ran flawless
