Hey guys/gals. I’m currently close to finishing a rebuild on my sons vq35de out of his 06 350z. I have a part that I don’t remember removing and can’t find it in my manual. Any help is appreciated. Looks like some sort of oil drain back guide or something of that nature.

 

dip stick retainer. Be sure to install it

 

yep, guides the dipstick. driver side right under / outside valve cover towards the front of car.
