New owner
I have purchased a 2007 350Z convertible. Their were no lights on the dash when I started the trip home, 100 miles I got home, service engine soon light was on. I did stop a put in gas but took no notice if that was when the light came one or not. I have a tire pressure light on, previous owner said it had a sensor not working, reason for it, and the airbag light is also on. I am writing to find a good code reader, scanner or whatever other words are used to describe this tool. I searched but their are so many different ones at too many different prices, for me a novice to decide, so I came here, thanks if you can help, I appreciate it. My gas door does not pop open as it should, I have to open it manually, when pressing the button you can here the actuator, so I don’t know. I haven’t researched a fix for this yet
Thank you, I don’t know exactly what you mean, but I will look at it. By saying it will open the door easier implies that it opens, however hard, but it does not open except for me pushing the door down so I can get a finger tip behind the door and forcing it open. Again thanks. And I will look to see if adjusting these screws does anything to remedy the problem.
No firsthand experience, but it seems like the Foxwell NT650 is a good scanner tool that diagnoses SES codes or MILs, ABS, and the SRS system.
Resetting and registering the TPMS with new sensors is pretty straightforward and you don't need a fancy tool to do that other than a short length of wire.

I have a Foxwell NT630. Was about $110
It was the cheapest one I could find that had ABS bleeding.
If you just want it to do codes/abs/airbag you can probably get off buying something half that price, but I can't recommend one for only those purposes.
