alright so here is the deal.. i picked up a 03 track the other day everything has been fine other than the drivers window working when it wants too.. but then tonite when i was at the gas station not getting gas just using the covered parking to install the new wiper blades i picked up at walmart since it was raining here, Anyways.. so im putting the blades on and then i notice the car idle up.. im thinking the fans kicked on just like the do on any other car when its sitting running for any amount of time.. so i get back in to leave and pull out and then i try to speed up and it wont idle up over 1900 rpm's .. i look down and the VDC, SLIP, and CHECK ENG light are on .. so i pull back over and take a look at things.. i restart the car its still doing it.. 3 times then finally i restart the car the 4th time and the lights go off all except the check eng light.. has anyone had a problem like this if so whats the deal with it and why did it just mess up like that

also the light right above the CHECK ENG light is on too.. im unsure what that one is since hondas dont have it.. any input would be great other than some smart *** telling me to do a search... this isnt my first forum and im a long time member of honda-tech.com its just my first nissan and its kinda new and foreign.. thanks in advance fellas

is everything stock under the hood? Check and make sure your MAF sensor connection is fine and nothing is loose. Take it to Autozone and get a reading for the CEL.

 

yea everything on the car is stock other.. i had already planned to run it by and get the CELs scanned

but i did figure out what the other light on the dash was above the engine light it was for the damn tps and went off when i put the air up

 

it happened to me one time when the technician left the MAF sensor connection unhooked. He hooked it back up, reset the CEL and everything was fine.
